🐶 Are you looking to become a dog trainer?

🐶 Do you have questions about our industry?

Then you’ve found the right place!

What we’re all about:

We are a 100% positive reinforcement training organization. What that means is that we avoid shock collars, e-collars, prong collars, and other adverse methods, and instead use dog psychology, and studies to get dogs to obey their handlers’ commands. We believe that training is the #1 factor in having a healthy dog. Some of our clients have calm dogs who just need to learn manners, but we also get many owners, who need help with their highly reactive dogs. Some may define “reactive” as dogs who bark at others, but we also train dogs who urinate when they see new people, and dogs who become reactive aggressive upon seeing new people and animals at a distance. Through our apprenticeship program, you will work your way up to this level, as our community needs more trainers like us.

We first prioritize dog and handler safety, and second prioritize education. There are many misunderstanding when training dogs, which cause avoidable severe behavior issues.

Our training is focused on handler education, and we provide on-going support to ensure our clients tackle the root of behavior issues as soon as possible. This is why our trainers are all required to be pet first aid certified, and get their training certification as well.

Program Requirements:

We are looking for an upbeat, patient, and athletic individual who is comfortable meeting strangers, and can handle great danes and cane corsos, and puppies! If you are hesitant, don’t worry, contact us, and we’ll teach you how to work with big dogs! You’ll get bonus points if you are analytical, and have great communication skills.

We require you to shadow our trainers for the minimum span of one year, and learn how to handle easy dogs, as well as highly reactive dogs. We have several levels you would need to work through, and consistently show your crisis situation leadership skills. When everyone has panicked, you will learn to take charge and stabilize the situation.
